B i o g r a p h y
Sarah Davies is an award-winning professional harpist and music teacher. She has been playing the harp at weddings and events for 15 years, playing both the pedal and the clàrsach (celtic) harps.
Performing for both public and private events in venues such as churches, hotels, stately homes and restaurants, Sarah has performed in venues across the UK,
including Saddleworth, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Sarah began playing the harp at the age of 9. And is also an accomplished classical guitarist and pianist, graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2013 with a BA(Hons) Music Degree.
Sarah regularly competes in competitions & music festivals. Her many awards include success at the prestigious International Scottish MOD, where in 2012 she became the first English winner of the Open Advanced Clàrsach Harp competition in over 30 years.
Sarah also teaches harp, guitar and piano in Saddleworth & Tameside, in Greater Manchester.
